The story:
This was my first time using a super macro convertor, and only my third dive. A whole new world opened up to me when i saw a colony of skeleton shrimps through my external view finder. It was absolutely fascinating as i could never have discerned all this hustle bustle and busy activity that they are involved with without the SMC, especially as i am at an age where i use readers on my dive mask. It took a while to get this shot as there was a mild current, the soft coral on which this skeleton shrimp was on kept swaying, and the shrimp kept moving, particularly bending down and doing something to the “strings” of the coral. Elbows tucked carefully in the sand i started to take a few shots. It took over 40 minutes to get just a few decent shots. To me this shot looks like the shrimp is playing a harp.
