The story:  The subject is a cerianto (Arachnanthus oligopodus) in the pelagic phase; after this phase adheres to the seabed on which will live his entire life. The particular effect of this photo was obtained using a self-made filter and was taken to Taranto in Mar Piccolo and it’s a fairly rare species in this sea.

Location: Taranto, Mar Piccolo, South of Italy 

Camera: Nikon D7100 and Nikkor 60mm Lens (F9, 1/320, ISO 100) with EasyDive LEO3 Housing and Dual Sea & Sea YS-D1 Strobes.
