“Spotfin Flounder“
The Story: I encountered this 2 cm size Spotfin Flounder larva at about 30 feet of depth during a Blackwater dive in South East Florida. The flounder was spinning around and also twisting at the same time, making it difficult to photograph. It would stop for a few seconds before resuming it’s rapid movements, and it was during one such pause, that I was able to acquire focus and get a nice detailed side profile shot with it’s flashy fins in full display.
