The Myth is Real: The Socorro Vortex is now Operating

 M/V Socorro Vortex has sailed on her maiden voyage to Revillagigedo after over a year of being refitted into one of the best diving liveaboards out there. Much sweat, blood and work have gone into this project, one of the most ambitious individual projects the diving industry has seen so far.

Everything on the Vortex has been custom made and handpicked to meet the highest standards. This truly is the liveaboard for the discerning diver. The Pelagic Fleet and Peter Hughes (2018 NOGI Award Winner for Distinguished Service) have redefined luxury diving in remote locations. Together with the Vortex, Pelagic Fleet is launching their SPOC (Self Propelled Ocean Cage) for commercial use in Guadalupe. Previously used only for scientific purposes, now will be available for charter at an hourly rate so our guests can enjoy great white sharks like never before.
