The Story:

While visiting one of the top spots for blackwater diving in Anilao, Philippines, I was incredibly lucky to encounter one of the holy grails of blackwater diving, the blanket octopus. During this dive, the blanket was gliding above me, and I was able to capture it with its wings fully extended. To me, it resembles a beautiful bird in flight.
