"Love Story in the River"

The Story:

This shot was taken after a flood, during which parts of trees were carried downstream by a strong current. The branches eventually accumulated in a shallow, calm part of the river with no current. During this time, Caledonian carps were in their mating season, engaging in a mesmerizing dance and nipping at each other.
