Honorable Mention Nudibranchs
Giancarlo Mazarese
"Underwater Flowers"
The Story:
During a daytime dive in Anilao, while searching for a subject to photograph, I came across this extraordinary scene. After quickly positioning the strobes, I waited for the perfect moment to capture it. A nudibranch (Nembrotha lineolata) was gracefully moving inside a Sarcophyton, surrounded by the coral's extended polyps. This scene evoked the image of a being strolling through a field of flowers, immersed in the enchanted atmosphere of the underwater world.
