The DEMA tradeshow is back in Las Vegas, NV, and presents a venue for the dive industry (and underwater imaging companies) to present their latest and greatest products.

The Essentials from DEMA

Canon 7D Mk II Housings

The Canon 7D MkII will surely become a staple for underwater photographers in the Canon camp, either purchasing a prosumer DSLR for the first time or upgrading from the original 7D or other EOS camera. The Dual-pixel CMOS sensor is a game changer for autofocus video underwater, with AF much faster and more accurate than previous live view SF systems. Aquatica

Aquatica's 7D MkII housing will be available in early 2015 and promises to deliver Aquatica's iconic ease of use, ergonomics, toughness, precision and attention to detail for photographers and videographers.

Ikelite

The Ikelite 7D MkII housing will be first-to-market, shipping in mid-December. Packing maximum value to dollar ratio and incredible TTL strobe control through the back of the housing, this will be a big seller for the new 7D MkII.

Nauticam

Nauticam will be releasing their housing for the Canon 7D MkII end of year or early 2015 as well - stay tuned for updates!

Sea & Sea

The Sea & Sea housing for the Canon 70D was amazing for use shooting stills and video underwater, and the new 7D MkII housing promises the same ergonomics. Look for this housing in early 2015.

Ikelite Announces Mirrorless Camera Housings
