The sun is low as the dive boat hums along toward our destination. The divers -- mostly grown men -- are like schoolgirls giddy with excitement as the opportunity in front of us doesn’t present itself as often as we would like. The Captain slows the boat and we know we have finally reached our dive site. Hearts beat faster and anticipation mounts as we finish suiting up and complete our gear checks. We try to be patient as the excitement builds and we hear those magic words “Dive, Dive, Dive!”.

Enhance your "keepers" and be able to find them later!
You've just returned home after an amazing trip abroad (or from your favorite local beach dive), and you've captured some "keepers." Awesome! For many of us underwater photographers, we can't wait to share, publish, or print our creations. Here I will walk you through the five basic steps I take after uploading my photos to my image editing software of choice, Lightroom. Many of these steps also apply to programs like Aperture, but for the purposes of this article I will focus on Lightroom 4.

Cabo is a dive playground right in Southern California’s backyard. A quick flight from LAX, Cabo offers something for everyone whether traveling with family or friends. The town is infamous for an intense party scene, however many don’t realize that Cabo also offers affordable and relaxing family vacations hanging by the resort pools and the beach. Visitors can choose between Cabo San Lucas or nearby (and quieter) San José del Cabo, as well as a retreat to Cabo Pulmo where interruption would only come from the occasional pelican diving into the aqua water after a fish.
