Aquatica acquires Amphibico

Canadian underwater equipment manufacturer Aquatica has acquired Amphibico, an underwater video housing company.

Amphibico had declared bankrupcy in late April 2011 and had ceased operations. Amphibico housings owners will be very happy to hear this news! Both companies are in Montreal, Canada - which should help insure a seamless transition.

MONTREAL, Canada, September 28 - Aquatica today announced that it has acquired Amphibico, the industry leader in underwater video imaging. The combined company is now a global leader in the design, development and service of equipment for the professional and recreational videographer, filmmaker and still photographer.

For more than two decades both Montreal-based companies have been recognized for product innovation, quality manufacturing, and excellent customer service.
