Last Call for Entries: SEA International Photo Competition

Have some great photos and want to win a fantastic prize? Be sure to enter the SEA 2014 International Photo Competition. Organized by the Northern California Underwater Photography Society, the SEA contest is open to amateur and advanced underwater shooters worldwide. Details below:

SEA 2014 Photo Competition

The Northern California Underwater Photography Society announce the 49th Annual International Underwater Photo & Video Competition and the Bob Commer Award of Excellence in Underwater Photography. The competition is open to amateur photographers and videographers from around the world using any type of camera to capture our underwater world. With prizes totaling in the tens of thousands of dollars, award sponsors of the SEA 2014 competition include: SCUBA ecotourism resorts, travel agencies, and luxury live-aboard dive boats, as well as SCUBA and photography equipment manufacturers. Previous competitions have brought in the finest still images and video entries from underwater photographers and videographers around the world!

The SEA 2014 competition will issue awards for the best work in still categories including Macro, Wide Angle, Underwater California, and Marine Conservation; plus Creative. There are two video categories; Classic and Video Snapshots. The SEA 2014 competition Best of Show, in addition to a selected prize from the prize list, is awarded the prestigious Bob Commer Award of Photographic Excellence! The Bob Commer Award consists of a trophy and a check for $500.00 USD.

Entry is open on May 15, 2014. The deadline for entry is June 30, 2014.
