Underwater photographer Kevin Lee finds adventure while stopping over on the southern Pacific coast of South America
Chile, the world's longest north-to-south nation, is a narrow country bounded on the east by the magnificent Andes mountain range, whose peaks thrust skyward well over 6500 meters. Dozens of active volcanoes smolder and erupt as tremendous tectonic forces trigger constant earthquakes. Nestled aloft in the mountains is Ojos del Salado, known as the highest lake on earth, at an altitude of 6390m.

Photographer Kelli Dickinson takes Olympus' latest camera out for a few dives to test its underwater performance.
I recently got the opportunity to take the new Olympus Pen "Mini" camera, the E-PM1, out for a couple of test dives. The Pen "Mini" is a slimmed-down version of the previous model in the line, the E-PL3. I own and have been shooting with the E-PL1, which was the first Pen series camera to have an underwater housing, and I absolutely love it. To avoid confusion, I will just refer to the E-PM1 as the "Mini" from here on out.

Kelli Dickinson is an avid diver and underwater photographer who shoots primarily on mirrorless cameras. Familiar with a variety of cameras and housings she tries to shoot on as many different options as possible to improve her overall knowledge of underwater camera systems. I have always been fascinated by the super macro images that I have seen online, in magazines and in underwater photo competitions. As I prepared for my trip to Papua New Guinea (the “PNG” as many call it), I decided to take the plunge, invest in some new equipment and give super macro shooting a try.
