The Story: Blairgowrie pier in Port Phillip Bay appears to be the perfect environment for the birthing of Shorthead Seahorses. For a short time these juveniles stay together sharing the same piece of weed and feeding just below the surface which allows for the opportunity of capturing reflection shots. This shot was captured during very, calm surface conditions. Sensitive to light it's best not to use a torch as they will often shy away from the camera. For this shot I chose to use the camera's internal flash.
